چکیده
A Description of the Rabbit Stream Cipher Algorithm Status of This Memo This memo provides information for the Internet community. It does not specify an Internet standard of any kind. Distribution of this memo is unlimited. Abstract This document describes the encryption algorithm Rabbit. It is a stream cipher algorithm with a 128-bit key and 64-bit initialization vector (IV). The method was published in 2003 and has been subject to public security and performance revision. Its high performance makes it particularly suited for the use with Internet protocols where large amounts of data have to be processed.

Biometric Authentication of Fingerprint for Banking Users, Using Stream Cipher Algorithm
Providing banking services, especially online banking and electronic payment systems, has always been associated with high concerns about security risks. In this paper, customer authentication for their transactions in electronic banking has been discussed, and a more appropriate way of using biometric fingerprint data, as well as encrypting those data in a different way, has been suggest...
متن کاملThe Rabbit Stream Cipher
The stream cipher Rabbit was first presented at FSE 2003 [5], and no attacks against it have been published until now. With a measured encryption/decryption speed of 3.7 clock cycles per byte on a Pentium III processor, Rabbit does also provide very high performance. Thus, the Rabbit design is currently submitted to the Ecrypt call for stream cipher primitives. This paper gives a concise descri...
متن کاملRabbit Data Streaming:Architecture & FPGA Implementation
The special needs for cryptography, of both wired and wireless communications, have attracted the researchers’ major interest in the design of new encryption algorithms. Rabbit cipher is a latest developed stream cipher, with special features for software performance. Of course, new algorithms are intended to perform efficiently for both software and hardware applications. In this paper, an arc...
متن کاملA Stream Cipher Based on Chaotic Permutations
In this paper we introduce a word-based stream cipher consisting of a chaotic part operating as a chaotic permutation and a linear part, both of which designed on a finite field. We will show that this system can operate in both synchronized and self-synchronized modes. More specifically, we show that in the self-synchronized mode the stream cipher has a receiver operating as an unknown input o...
متن کاملNofish - A new stream cipher
The purpose of this paper is to provide a description of the Nofish cryptographic algorithm. This paper is intended to release the algorithm to the cryptographic community, for its future analysis and possible use. The name of the algorithm comes in respect to other well-known secure crypto algorithms like Blowfish and Twofish and since this one has not gained this status, I call it Nofish. 1. ...
